Honoring Those Who Served

Today we salute those among us who have served our nation through military service.

Whether it’s the three anonymous heroes who lie within The Tomb Of The Unknowns in Arlington National Cemetery or the POW who left this country as one person and returned as another, or didn’t return at all. Their sacrifices are a substantial testament to the great and free nation that is the United States of America. It’s someone who salutes our flag, has served their country beneath it, and whose coffin is draped by it.

If you know a veteran, express your appreciation this Veterans Day by simply saying ‚”thank you” or “welcome home.” These simple words may mean more than any medals they could ever be awarded.

From this vet, and on behalf of the entire Half Price Books family, Happy Veterans Day.
